Man by Calvin Klein was launched in October of 2007 and proposed as a new classic for the modern Calvin Klein man, aged from 25 to 40. The name itself is programmatic and unambiguous, like an English translation of L’Homme by Yves Saint Laurent. Simple, brief, to the point. You are going to smell the essence of masculinity if you are to take your cue from the name of the fragrance. The packaging is sleek, modernist, with an architectural sense of proportions and looks good. The fragrance was cre

Long Lasting,
Everyone’s sense of smell and perception are different, so please take this review with a grain of salt.
One of the strengths of CK Man is that it’s long-lasting (one spray about 1 inch from my skin will linger for about 10+ hours). To put things in perspective, I usually give one spray to each area behind my temples.
The top notes I get when I first spray is overwhelming sweetness (I’m not a fan). It feels like someone is crushing fresh rosemary or thyme under your nose while orange-flavored vodka mixed with gin is being sprayed at you. I don’t find the sickly sweet aromas very pleasant, and people have asked if I’ve been drinking when I’ve met them immediately after application.
The mid notes blossom about 1/2 hour to an hour after you’ve applied Man. This is where things take a turn for the better. Man evolves into something mildly sweet, mellow, and somewhat musky. It’s like if you’re about arm’s length away from an open cigar box containing a few sticks of unburned incense and sprigs of mint. This is where I think Man shines, because it’s warm, inviting…yet refreshing. People have noted the same; I think the best off-compliment this has received is, “It makes me think of cuddling under a warm blanket while the window’s slightly open in the winter.”
As everything winds down hours later, Man leaves you with a soft scent of pine; slightly woody, slightly minty, and with a touch of sweetness. A good comparison would be the smell you have when opening the door of a car with leather seats that has a pack of mint chewing gum sitting on the dash on a warm day.

|Deep and musky,
I find Calvin Klein man deep and musky (in a good way). It’s good but not great, but of course this is highly subjective. My wife likes this for daily wear. I’d rank this in my top three.

|Very smooth and moisturizing!,
I’ve been using Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion along with Moisture On-Call for years. This winter has been especially brisk, so my skin was still dry no matter how much product I put on.
This weekend, I saw the Olay at my local warehouse store (3.4fl oz/100ml size) and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the results! My skin now feels soft and moisturized. I will continue using this product because it is fragrance free (so is Clinique), but in additon: oil-free and has SPF-15.

|Satisfaction beyond expectation,
I used this morning cream along with their night cream.
problem:
I’m a 65 yo male that has always had a ruddy complexion. I wore a cervical neck collar for about 6 years, plus losing about 100 pounds about 2 years ago. My neck was an over abundance of loose saggy skin.
I used both the day and night creams. I just wiped it on w/o paying much attention to how I did it.
RESULT after 1 month:
Nearly all that saggy neck skin tightened. It unbelievable.
plus-
I’ve received comments from three different people who commented, “you look great – what have you done to your face and neck!” THAT SAYS IT ALL>
I’ll definitely reorder these two products.

|Very smooth,
I had severe acne as a teenager and now that I’m in my 30′s I have an occasional breakout. I would always read in the beauty magazines that you should apply a moisturizer on your face but I was reluctant because of my acne-prone skin. I’m not sure why I decided to give Olay Total Effects a try but I am so glad I did. I have been using it every day for over a year now. It does not make my skin breakout at all (a big plus in my book). It makes my skin very smooth and gives me that “dewy” look. It also helps my foundation look more natural looking because the moisturizer is so hydrating. I also like the fact that it protects my skin from the sun.
I would definately recommend this product to anyone looking for a moisturizer. Despite it’s high price (compared to other brands) it’s definately worth it.
